For Global Organizations
Organizations with activities that span the world can benefit a great deal from the Lukashian Calendar. The absence of time zones means that it's the same time everywhere and
conversions are no longer necessary. IT systems can be simplified, leading to reduced costs and complexity.
The Lukashian Calendar is designed to be universal across the globe, so working with various different calendars will no longer be necessary.
The efficient design means that business and communication will be effective and seamless. Imagine the following conversation
between people not using the Lukashian Calendar:
- Emma: "Hi John, how long before the shipment will be delivered?"
- John: "Hey Emma, it will be delivered on March 31."
- Emma: "How many days from now is that?"
- John: "Uhm, let me think... 95 days from now?"
- Emma: "Are you sure?"
- John: "Actually, next year might be a leap year, so I think it's 96 days."
- Emma: "Ok, and at what time can we expect it?"
- John: "Around 7 o'clock."
- Emma: "Is that AM or PM?"
- John: "AM."
- Emma: "Ok, thanks. I was wondering: why will the shipment arrive so early in the morning this time? Usually, we get them in the afternoon."
- John: "What do you mean? 7 AM is in the afternoon for you guys, right?"
- Emma: "Oh, you mean 7 AM in your time zone!"
- John: "Yes, indeed. Sorry for the confusion. Now that I think about it, has Summer Time already started by then, or not?"
- Emma: "Summer Time? What is that? I don't think we do that here..."
If John and Emma would be using different regional calendars, it would be even worse... Using the Lukashian Calendar, it could be like this:
- Emma: "Hi John, how long before the shipment will be delivered?"
- John: "Hey Emma, it will be delivered on Day 100."
- Emma: "Okay, it's Day 5 now, so that's in 95 days... At what time can we expect it?"
- John: "Around 6200."
- Emma: "All right, thanks!"
